If you fancy dressing up as a pirate, the first thing you’d think is “what did Pirates wear? Dirty, shoddily-dressed sea villains, with their own individual style! Pirates are genderless and ageless!

For theme parties there are traditional pirate costumes on offer together with any type of accessory you could want

They are also not costly to make. They did not have a consistent style of dress making the ‘designing’ of the costume easier. They usually wore loose-fitting clothing, whatever they could find. Black, brown, and dark green were often their choicest colors for trousers.
