Pirates are people who attack and steal from people on the high seas. They are not only desperate thieves but cruel murderers. In ancient history, Greek pirates used to attack ship sin the Mediterranean Sea more than 2,000 years ago. And 1,000 years ago pirates from Norway called Vikings, performed similar actions in the North Sea.
The ones history recalls the most recently lived in the 1600′s and 1700′s.

Pirate costumes are one of the most sought after outfits for parties and get togethers, but let’s talk about the best accessories to match.

Not all pirates had a wooden leg or a parrot on his shoulder. With a little bit of research and some imaginative thinking you can soon come up with some far more original ideas than that.

Let’s start with jewellery for instance. Anyone wearing pirate costumes are, essentially, villains. You want to show your badness in your overall appearance. You want people to know that you are a rebel and that you have no time for decency or convention. Nose-rings and earrings will go very well with your new pirate image. Don’t worry; I am not trying to talk you into desecrating your face and body just for the sake of a fancy dress party. If you browse the web and visit some websites you will discover many hundreds of facial piercings. There is a big selection of temporary tattoos that would match any pirate costume. There is no need to be concerned about looking too nasty, because swashbucklers hold a natural charisma.

The golden rule, when thinking about any accessories to go with your outfit is to ‘think bad’. You want people to be wary of you. You are a buccaneer and a criminal. Dress in a rugged and ‘ready for trouble’ style. Anyone remembering this when they are choosing which accessories to go with their pirate costumes are almost certainly onto a winner.
